Potent Insect & Animal Repellent For Garden & Home Use
Garlic Barrier can be used in farms, home gardens, for lawn care, around pond edges and is completely safe around people, pets*, animals and fish. Garlic Barrier is made from a strong liquid garlic concentrate. The natural sulfurs in the garlic provide lasting repellent effects to both pest insects and small animals. The concentrated garlic extract contains oils that allow Garlic Barrier to be used without being mixed with a "spreader-sticker". Simply dilute the concentrate with water and spray once a week to keep your garden pest free and your backyard enjoyable.
Once sprayed, the garlic odor diminishes in about 30 minutes as the plants absorb it. Garlic Barrier travels through the plant systemically, protecting roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. It does not change the taste or smell for humans or livestock, but insects can't stand the sulfurs absorbed from the garlic. Insects that do come looking for a meal or a place to lay their eggs are repelled for 1-2 weeks, depending on the insect and conditions. Do not apply if rain is forecasted within 48 hours of the time of application.
Garlic Barrier can also kill adult insects on contact. The citric acid damages many insects' outer coating (cuticle) and the garlic oil suffocates them by clogging their breathing holes (spiracles). Saturate all plants including grass, vegetables and trees for best results limiting pest populations.
Coverage Rate: Diluted quarts of Garlic Barrier will treat approximately 15,000 square feet.
